Ride for the Sha'ar HaNegev Educational Village


If you feel that you may not be fit enough to ride, DON’T WORRY! We will help you get there. All you need to do is commit and we will work with you to build your fitness to the level needed to complete and enjoy the ride. In our first Bike Israel Ride, every rider successfully trained and enjoyed the ride. You can too!.

To make sure that all our participants are fully prepared for this rewarding multi day cycling event, we’ve put together a comprehensive 12 week training program. Our training program will include a week by week schedule of bike rides, spin classes and weight training guidelines, and will include a weekly group ride from the San Diego Jewish Academy. We will be available to customize your training program to fit your schedule. The training program is designed to ensure that you are ready for the bike ride in Israel and that you enjoy riding 50 miles a day for consecutive days. This program is easy and fun, it will build fitness and endurance and get you to a point where you can comfortably ride the required distances.

The training program will commence in January 2010 and final details will follow soon.
